The Biggest Loser Contest
In January, we will start our 2nd annual Biggest Loser Contest. Please sign your dog up and help him or her drop some of those Christmas (or more) pounds. It is based on percentage of weight lost, not total weight so a little dog may lose more that the big dogs for their size. To enter, just download the form, go to the vet to get a current weight and send us the form. At the end of three months, we will ask you for an end weight and determine the winner. The prize is two nights of free boarding and who doesn't want to win that!

Are you exercising your dog every day? A walk around the block at an amble does not count. They need to walk several miles a day to get adequate exercise. If the weather is not to your liking, consider Doggy Daycare of swimming as an alternative to walking or running your dog.
Do you have your dog on a premium diet? It is actually more cost effective to feed your dog a food that costs more per bag than to feed a cheaper food. You can feed less because there is more nutrition in the premium food and research has shown that you will spend less on vet bills also.
